Jawbreaker: the Anti-Cimex documentary

Noise Not Borders and Maldito Sudaca, as part of the Sin Fronteras Ni Naciones international festival, present: Jawbreaker, the documentary about the history of the legendary band Anti-Cimex.
During a successful world tour, the immortal Scandinavian warrior will arrive in Montreal on Sunday, June 7, for its Canadian premiere. “Jawbreaker,” directed by Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin, tells the story of Anti-Cimex’s history, influence, and impact on the underground scene in Sweden and around the world: “Anti-Cimex wasn’t just music: it was an attitude, a kind of force of nature. We delve into history, look toward the future, and position ourselves across all timelines at once—a humorous and dreamlike portrait of Sweden’s most dysfunctional boy band. ”
This screening, which will take place at the Anarchist Social Center l'Achoppe, is held in solidarity with the Rekup collective (https://www.instagram.com/rekupp?igsh=MWtkYmJtaml6NnJoZg==) in the city of Manizales, Colombia, which is dedicated to recovering food and distributing it for free to those in need. Therefore, admission is pay-what-you-can. In addition to the documentary, we’ll have a conversation with some special guests.

Le collectif Noise Not Borders et le Maldito Sudaca, dans le cadre du festival international Sin Fronteras Ni Naciones, présentent : Jawbreaker, le documentaire sur l'histoire de la légendaire bande Anti-Cimex.
Lors d'une tournée réussie à travers le monde, l'immortel guerrier scandinave débarquera à Montréal le dimanche 07 juin, pour sa première en canadienne. « Jawbreaker », des réalisateurs Tomas Haglund et Oskar Sjödin, raconte l'histoire, l'influence et l'impact d'Anti-Cimex sur la scène underground en Suède et dans le monde entier : « Anti Cimex n’était pas seulement de la musique : c’était une attitude, une sorte de force de la nature. Nous fouillons dans l’histoire, nous nous tournons vers l’avenir et nous nous situons sur toutes les lignes temporelles à la fois – un portrait humoristique et onirique du boys band le plus dysfonctionnel de Suède. »
Cette projection, qui aura lieu au Centre Social Anarchiste l'Achoppe, est organisée en solidarité avec le collectif Rekup (https://www.instagram.com/rekupp?igsh=MWtkYmJtaml6NnJoZg==) de la ville de Manizales, en Colombie, qui se consacre à récupérer de la nourriture et à la distribuer gratuitement selon le besoin. Par conséquent, le prix de l'entrée est à prix libre. En plus du documentaire, nous aurons une conversation avec quelques invités spéciaux.
